Katie Hudak

Katie Hudak is a senior at the University of Washington majoring in International Studies and Germanics. Originally from Anacortes, Washington, Katie spent a gap year in Darmstadt, Germany through the CBYX Vocational Youth Program before beginning her studies at UW. Having a strong passion for the fine arts, Katie also studied ballet for nine years and studies classical voice performance at the Music School at UW. In the spring of 2017 Katie also had the opportunity to intern for the Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in Vilnius, Lithuania, where she was immersed in the country of her heritage and became the first member of her family to meet and connect with relatives in Lithuania. In the future Katie hopes to pursue a graduate degree and career in the Foreign Service. In her free time, Katie enjoys eating Phở, watching plays and operas, and traveling.
