Kenton Nakamura
Kenton Nakamura graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in ethics. Born and raised in Hawaii, he aspires to serve in the Foreign Service as a diplomat, with the goal of promoting cross-cultural collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region. He has previously worked with Pacific Forum CSIS as a member of their Hawaii Asia-Pacific Affairs Leadership Program to discuss the role of Hawaii in the region; he has also served as the Asian Student Commission Director at the University of Washington to raise awareness of topics such as mental health, sexualization of Asian women, and undocumented immigration from Asia. In his free time, Kenton enjoys eating food, running, playing board games, and paddling.
