Mariam Ahmed
Mariam Ahmed is an attorney based in Seattle who has lived in six U.S. states and abroad in Saudi Arabia, where she first gained exposure to the international community through the global education system. She recently graduated from UT Austin School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor of the Texas International Law Journal and focused on international law and justice reform. Prior to joining a civil litigation firm, she worked as a prosecutor in Fort Bend County and volunteered with a nonprofit providing post-conviction relief to juveniles. Mariam has also interned with the Houston Mayor’s Office of Trade and International Affairs, supporting the city’s sister cities program and diplomatic outreach. She is passionate about global affairs, community engagement, and building bridges across cultures.
