Natalie Nabass
Natalie (Nat) is from the Levant, with immigrant parents from Jordan and Iraq. Nat's passion for diversity and culture inspired her to attend Pacific Lutheran University, whose core values embrace and encourage cultural competency through international education. She is in her fifth year at PLU and double majoring in Religious Studies and Global Studies with a concentration in Migration and Transnationalism. Her time spent at PLU cultivated her interest in religious studies and motivated her to pursue and participate in interfaith activism on campus. Nat joined the Global Classroom program at the World Affairs Council in order to learn more about diversity programming and help encourage teachers to address more contemporary global issues in their classrooms. Her ultimate goal is to start up a diversity consultation firm. Outside of work and schooling, Nat is a car enthusiast, she loves baking bread and artisan loaves, reading comics, and learning new languages.
