Nora Scullin
Nora joined the World Affairs Council of Seattle in 2017 following her move to the northwest from Washington DC. In DC, Nora worked at various think tanks and cultural outreach organizations with a primary focus on Asian-Americans and the U.S.-Japan relationship including: Sasakawa Peace Foundation USA, the U.S.-Japan Council, and the Asian & Pacific Islander-American Scholarship Fund. Nora is a Cleveland native and a passionate language learner with degrees in French and Japanese languages from Case Western Reserve University. She has also studied at Meikai University and Kanda University of International Studies in Chiba, Japan and has worked on a city-wide research project on public perceptions of immigration on location in Paris, France. In her free time, Nora scours the internet for vintage Barbie dolls, practices ballet, and seeks out arthouse theaters playing silent movies.
