Robert Kerr
Mr. Robert Kerr is Consul (Political, Economic and Public Affairs) at the Consulate General of Canada in Seattle, with accreditation for Washington State, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. Prior to his posting to Seattle in September 2017, Rob was a Senior Policy Advisor in the North American Policy and Relations Division at Global Affairs Canada headquarters in Ottawa (2012-2017). He joined Global Affairs Canada in 2003 and has been posted to the Embassies of Canada in Peru, Mozambique and Guatemala. In addition to his Global Affairs experience, Rob has been a researcher in the area of innovation dynamics, an entrepreneur, and a financial consultant. Rob has a bachelor’s degree from McMaster University and a master’s degree from the University of Calgary.
