Shalina is a proud Air Force dependent who spent most of her life living in different countries around the globe. From this unique and privileged upbringing, Shalina developed a natural curiosity and passion for interacting with and learning about new peoples, traditions, customs, and cultures. She pursued a Masters in Education in Mental Health Counseling in an effort to better understand and make easier the lives of those around her. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Seattle University with the end goal of helping to create simple, fun, interactive, and immersive ways to develop mindful, whole, competent, and compassionate global leaders who are invested in leading their industries, people, and communities to do good things. When she’s not working Shalina loves to clean, dance, learn languages, and go for long destination-free walks.
