Sheridan Douglas
Sheridan Douglas is currently a student at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University, majoring in International Affairs with a concentration in International Development. Additionally, she is minoring in French and Sustainability, which lend to her studies in sustainable development, specifically in Francophone regions. Next spring, she will be studying abroad at Sciences Po Paris to gain fluency in French and take courses towards her bachelor’s degree. At the World Affairs Council, she looks forward to becoming more involved with global issues that touch the Greater Seattle community, which has been her home for her entire life. Further, she is excited to aid the Council with its mission to inform community members on global issues and inspire them to make an impact.
In her free time, Sheridan enjoys rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, and anything else that allows her to be outside. When the weather isn’t as good, she can be found reading a historical fiction novel, having a movie marathon, or crocheting. She hopes to volunteer in the Peace Corps to aid development and promote sustainable practices in the future.
