Stephanie Nelson
Stephanie Nelson is an educator and lifelong learner dedicated to helping students build pathways for success through meaningful and engaging learning experiences. Throughout her career, she has worked in multiple school settings, developing programs and instructional approaches that support diverse learners and foster academic growth.
A recipient of the prestigious James Madison Fellowship for Washington State in 2018, Stephanie is passionate about civic education, inquiry, and helping students understand their roles in a democratic society. She brings curiosity, optimism, and a commitment to continuous learning to both her classroom and professional practice.
Outside of school, Stephanie enjoys sports, live music, travel, and exploring new opportunities to learn. She believes that finding joy in both everyday moments and major milestones is essential to personal and professional growth and looks forward to learning alongside fellow educators through the fellowship.
