Sydney Garfinkel
Sydney is a global health practitioner with deep expertise and interest in research, and evidence uptake for policy implementation in low- and middle-income countries. Her prior work includes roles in foreign aid/innovation policy for the U.S. government, strategy and consulting for donors and NGOs, and disease-focused intervention research within academic institutions. She is currently based within Bill Gates' private office, leading the strategy and implementation of dissemination & research uptake on a number of novel global health studies. Sydney is a 2022 Master of Public Administration graduate of the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy and hold BA degrees in International Studies and French from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Outside of her professional life, you can find her training for her next ultra marathon around Washington's incredible trail system, biking to different breweries, or at any of Seattle's many live music venues!
