Taylor Heatherly
Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Taylor is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Washington. She majors in Political Science with a concentration in International Security and minors in Asian Languages &Culture to develop her language proficiency and deepen her understanding of culture and history through various literature and linguistics courses.

Traveling abroad to Taiwan, China, and Okinawa has also played an important role in shaping her interests and inspiring her desire to continue learning.
In addition to her academic work, Taylor is actively involved in leadership roles within two registered student organizations. Hui Hoaloha Ulana is an organization that helps new students from Hawaii adjust to college life and shares Hawaiian culture and tradition with the broader campus and Seattle community. She has previously served as an Event Coordinators and Community Outreach Chair, and now currently serves as President. Taylor was also the Recruitment Chair for UW Relay for Life, the on-campus chapter partnering with the American Cancer Society to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with friends, watching movies, trying new restaurants, and visiting various farmers markets.
