Tessah Wheless

Tessah Wheless is a senior at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, studying Operations & Supply Chain Management and Information Systems. Her interest in global connection grew after studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she loved experiencing a new culture, meeting people from different backgrounds, and seeing the world from a different perspective. That experience drew her to the World Affairs Council, where she saw an opportunity to stay connected to the international community while helping create meaningful experiences for global visitors coming to Seattle. She was especially excited by the World Affairs Council's work connecting international leaders with local organizations and communities and wanted to be part of creating the same kind of cross-cultural learning that had been so meaningful to her abroad.
