Tobias Osterhaug
Tobias Osterhaug joined the World Affairs Council as Program Coordinator for Global Classroom, and transferred to the International Visitor Program in August 2018. Prior to being hired as a staff member he worked at the Council as a Communications and Development intern, while he completed his M.A. in International Studies at the University of Washington. He also has a B.A. in History and Chinese Studies from Western Washington University, and spent a year in Taiwan teaching English on a Fulbright scholarship. As the son of an immigrant and a participant in many exchanges, he strongly believes in the value of bringing people from diverse backgrounds and different nationalities together to share perspectives and collaborate on projects. A Seattle native, in his free time Tobias enjoys hiking, skiing, sailing, cooking experiments, and performing improv.
