Zoe Stylianides
Zoe Stylianides is a Junior at the University of Washington, where she is pursuing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Philosophy. After graduation, she plans to attend law school and specialize in human rights and corporate and business law.
Beyond her studies, Zoe is passionate about devoting her time to volunteering and giving others a voice. She currently volunteers with Undaunted Women teaching immigrant women conversational English. She is also involved with a variety of student organizations at the University of Washington, including Pi Sigma Alpha NU, the Political Science Honor Society, and the Registered Student Organization Health Advocacy for Care and Kindness which advocates for the homeless population in the U District.
Zoe’s passion for international relations and human rights began young. At the age of 12, she became involved with Model United Nations and continued that activity throughout her higher education. It is through M.U.N. her love for human rights and international cooperation between nation states grew. Moreover, she is Greek-Cypriot, American and has lived in Cyprus, Qatar and now the United States. Her dual nationality and many travel experiences have made her even more fascinated with international relations. Zoe is thrilled to be continuing this passion though her internship with the World Affairs Council.
