Andrew Bleiman
Andrew leads the North American business for Tractive, an Austria-based pet GPS and health tracking company and held a similar role for Taiwanese pet technology company Tomofun (aka Furbo). He advises Ani.VC, a venture fund focused on animal health and welfare.
Prior to that he led marketing and strategy for Vulcan's Emerging Technology division, where he developed commercial technology projects. His work at Vulcan expanded into wildlife conservation technology and international impact initiatives, including elephant and rhino efforts in Africa and helping launch the Pacific Northwest’s first marine wildlife research and rescue hospital, SR3.
Andrew also co-founded ZooBorns, a media platform and book series highlighting baby animals in accredited zoos and aquariums, with more than two million books sold worldwide. Andrew currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Seattle Aquarium and as a mentor for the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
He holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and half an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Andrew was a 2024–2025 World Affairs Council Fellow. He lives in Seattle’s Blue Ridge neighborhood with his wife, Lillian, and their daughter, Avery.
